Narara Valley High School Band

At Narara Valley High School we have a hugely successful band program. Our concert band competed in the National band championships, travelled to Japan the USA and New Zealand in the past, as well as travelling interstate. The band regularly plans performance and competitive experiences both in Australia and overseas.

We perform at many community events as well as school functions throughout the year. These events include Central Coast Kids Day Out, the annual ANZAC ceremony in Gosford, NVHS presentation nights, Year 6-7 Transition and the Narara Ecoburbia Festival.

Commitment consists of a two hour rehearsal and a separate tutorial/ensemble in specialist groups. There is also the opportunity to participate in additional ensembles during the year. We accept and encourage enrolments in all wind and percussion instruments.

Our tutors are all professional, qualified musicians who are specialists in their given instrument fields, and all have many years experience teaching.

Band fees will be confirmed early each year.
