The Narara Valley High School Plan is a collaboration between students, parents and staff in order to consider the place of the school in the community and to develop the strategic direction that the school will take in the coming years.
The planning process included all members of the Narara Valley High School Learning Community; students, staff, parents, P&C, Cooinda Local AECG and The Valley Schools Learning Community.
Opportunities to participate in the planning process were available to all groups starting Term 1 of 2014. An executive conference and information evening preceded distribution of surveys, school forums, staff meetings and further executive planning meetings. The Student representative Council (SRC) and students also contributed through informal and formalised meetings. The P&C was also included in all parts of the process.
This collaboration provided focus areas which were compared with school held data on attendance, wellbeing, reporting and assessment supplemented by the information gathered from ESSA, NAPLAN and HSC.
The Senior Executive and Executive will be responsible for each Strategic Direction tracking the achievement of each milestone and providing updates to the Narara Valley High School Learning Community.
