Narara Valley High School is a compulsory uniform high school. This means that any student enrolled at Narara Valley High School is required to wear full school uniform at all times.
The decision to be a full uniform school was made in conjunction with both parents and students. This decision is constantly reinforced at monthly meetings of the Parents and Citizens Association, where parental requests to enforce full school uniform are prominent.
We pride ourselves on the positive view that parents and the public have of our school, but the uniform requirement is not intended to cause any financial stress upon families. We will provide financial assistance for any family who is experiencing hardship. Follow this link for more details on how to apply for financial assistance.
The photos below show a selection of uniform items for juniors and seniors. For a full description of our student uniforms, please see the Uniform Policy available on our Policy Documents page.
The uniform shop at the school is open 7.30am – 2.45pm Monday to Friday.
It is located at the school's front office. More information on how to order uniform items can be found by clicking the links below.
Students need to be in full school uniform at all times. If a student is out of uniform then a note from a parent/caregiver must be presented in explanation.
Student assistance will be provided for any student who needs financial aid to purchase new shoes, or any other part of the uniform. Disciplinary action will be taken for students who fail to comply with Narara Valley High School’s Uniform policy. Details of the uniform requirements and policy can be found at the links below:
